Woodmont Lunch Program
Dates and Classes we will not be serving Lunch for the month of:September 2008:
Monday, September 22-No School
Monday, September 29-6th-8th Grade girls retreat
Dear Woodmont Families in Christ,
We are pleased to introduce you to Woodmont Academy’s Lunch Program. Woodmont will be serving lunches that will include Chick-Fil-A, Subway, and Frank's pizza of Eldersburg. Offerings from these restaurants will be available on Monday (Chick-Fil-A), Wednesday (Subway), and Friday (Frank’s). There will be no catered lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays; students must bring a bagged lunch on those days.
The above restaurants will be providing the main entrée. The lunch coordinators will package the entrée with two sides (one fruit and one salty or sweet item) and a drink of 2% milk or 100% juice (chosen by your child) for a complete lunch. The side items will be pre-selected monthly by our Lunch Program Manager and Food Service Manager, and will be the same for each student. You will also have the option to order 2% milk or 2% chocolate milk for your child without ordering lunch.
In an effort to guard against shortages and the escalation of prices that accompanies waste, all lunches and milk orders must be placed and paid for in advance. There will be no “day of” purchases and no “lost” orders left in your child’s backpack or locker. All orders must be placed monthly through the Woodmont Academy website: www.woodmontacademy.org, by the 20th of the prior month, i.e., April 20th is the deadline for May lunch orders. Payment will be made through PayPal using a credit card or a PayPal account.
We cannot guarantee that food brought to us from outside vendors nor the side items provided by Woodmont are allergen free. If your child has food allergies, we ask you to visit the vendor websites for allergy information:
We have included some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) to further assist you in understanding Woodmont Academy’s new lunch program.
